Programme
6.30 a.m. - Meeting point at the valley station of Buffaure gondola, in Pozza di Fassa. Set your alarm and be there on time, the cable car is making a special ride, just for us!
6.40 a.m. - All on board, let’s go! Going up, we can admire the valley, with its illuminated villages, and we’ll start to catch sight of the outlines of the peaks surrounding Pozza. Once reached Buffaure, we’ll take the chairlift that will lead us to an extraordinary panoramic balcony.
7.00 a.m. - Here we are! From Col de Valvacin breathe in the fresh morning air and take some time to look around: Catinaccio, Sella and Marmolada, all the Dolomites come alive with the first rays of sunlight. The ski instructors of Pozza’s school will show us the summits, explaining their peculiarities and some fun facts.
7.30 a.m. - It’ time to put on your skis! Let’s hook up the boots and off we go: the Valvacin is all for us! The ski instructors will accompany us and give us valuable advice. Skiers will slalom on the velvet slope, leaving their waggle signature. A unique fun!
7.40 a.m. - It’s time to have breakfast! Together with the managers of El Zedron Hut, we’ll discover the natural products of Val di Fassa and Trentino. A nice breakfast will make us taste local cheeses and cold cuts, as well as honey and jams, yoghurt and homemade cakes, fresh milk, eggs, and apples.
8.50 a.m. - Full of energy, we’re ready for another descent down the Valvacin, but also on all the other slopes of Buffaure ski area. Those who reached the resort to enjoy a special sunrise, instead, can return to the village by chairlift and cable car.
